  • Independent Practice (You do): Raisin in the Sun Mini Project 
  • Closing: Reminders – USATESTPREP 
  • Tuesday: 
  • Opening: Review directions for the Mini Project 
  • Work Session - 
  • Independent Practice (You do): Students will continue working on their Raisin in the Sun Mini Projects. 
  • Closing:  Ticket Out the Door 

  • Wednesday:

  • Independent Practice (You do):  Students will watch “A Raisin in the Sun”

  • Thursday: 
  • Opening: What is Irony? 
  • Work Session - 
  • Instruction (I do): Teacher we do a lesson on the 3 type of Irony: Verbal, Situational & Dramatic 
  • Guided Practice (We do): Students will find the 3 types of Irony in our last novel, A Raisin in the Sun.  
  • Independent Practice (You do): Students will complete a foldable; Students will also finish watching the film and completing their questions. 
  • Closing: Ticket Out the Door 
  • Friday: 
  • Opening: Irony Review 
  • Work Session - 
  • Instruction (I do):  Teacher will review Summative Assessments & Mini Assessment 
  • Guided Practice (We do): Students will correct their wrong answers and give explanations for their correct ones.  
  • Independent Practice (You do): Persuasion: Frayer Model 
  • Closing:  Ticket Out the Door
