  • Monday: 
  • Opening: MLA Format Review 
  • Work Session - 
  • Instruction (I do): Teacher will explain Peer-Edit Form and expectations of how to constructively critique an essay 
  • Independent Practice (You do): Students will peer edit two papers and begin their final drafts 
  • Closing: Feedback: Peer Edit 

  • Tuesday: 
  • Opening: Google Docs Review 
  • Work Session - 
  • Instruction (I do): Teacher will walk the class through MLA format while they finish typing their essays in class; Teacher will review Do’s and Don’t's of Presentations 
  • Independent Practice (You do): Students will complete their Final Drafts in class and students should send their finals through google docs. 
  • Closing: Feedback – Oral Presentation 

  • Wednesday: 
  • Opening: Review Do’s and Don’ts of Presentations 
  • Work Session - 
  • Independent Practice (You do): Students will begin presenting their Persuasive Speeches; students will continue evaluating their peers during their presentation. 
  • Closing: Feedback - Oral Presentations 
  • Thursday:  
  • Opening: Parallel Structure Review 
  • Work Session - 
  • Independent Practice (You do): Students will continue presenting their Persuasive Speeches; students will continue evaluating their peers during their presentation. 
Closing:   
  • Friday:  ABSENT 
  • Work Session - 
  • Independent Practice (You do): Parallel Structure Review, Ethos, Pathos, Logos video analysis.
